Glitter and Grunge Class Descriptions
Friday Classes
Junque Jewelry - $20
Friday, July 16th, 10am - Noon
You may call it junk, but we call it treasure and we are
using it to adorn ourselves! In this class we will be making 2 necklaces using Tim Holtz Ideology pieces and Ranger Memory Glass and Frames along with a shabby but chic wooden spool bracelet. Supply list: Glossy Accents, Mod Podge, scissors and needle nose pliers. Teacher: Shawna

Altered Printer’s Tray - $45
Friday, July 16th, 1pm - 3pm
Using a 7 Gypsies Printer’s Tray we will assemble a collection of whimsical papers from October Afternoon, flea market findings, ephemera, ribbons, flowers, personal photos and more into a home décor project that will celebrate your family and home! Supply List: Three wallet size photos, scissors, Glossy Accents, pop dots, tape runner adhesive. Teacher: Karen

Dream a little Dream - Wall Hanging - $20
Friday, July 16th, 4pm - 6pm
Glitter and grunge are a dream come true with this scrapbook wall hanging! We will create a layout using Tim Holtz Grunge Board, vintage book pages, glitter, lace, trinkets and more all hung from a 12” wire clothes hanger . Supply list: a 5x7 black and white or sepia photo, scissors, tape runner adhesive, pop dots, brown distress ink pad, foam blender & Glossy Accents. Teacher: Shawna

Faux Barn Wood Canvas - $20
Friday, July 16th, 6:30 - 8:30 AND
Saturday, July 17th, 10am-11:30am
We will alter a 9 x 12 stretched canvas to resemble old, distressed barn wood collaged with vintage sewing patters, ephemera, paint, stamps, vintage images, handmade paper flowers, ribbons, trims and more! This 2 part class will hive you hands on exploration into collage and mixed media. Supply List: scissors, Matte Gel Medium, E6000, (if you have: a stamp press and/or acrylic blocks.) Teacher: Karen


Saturday Classes

Women are like buttons... - $20
Saturday, July 17th, Noon - 2pm
This whimsical wall hanging, made from an embroidery hoop, is full of stitching, buttons, hand made flowers and more! Learn how to mix paper, fabric and other notions together to create a wonderful wall hanging you will have for years to come. Supply list: E6000, Matte Gel Medium scissors, distress ink pad, foam blending tool.

Fairies in Bottle - $15
Saturday, July 17th, 3pm - 5pm
Capture your inner child and all of her childhood dreams into these amazing altered bottles! Karen will lead you in a creative journey using vintage photos of children, butterfly wings, twigs, moss, glitter and more. Bring one small glass jar with a screw on lid - old mason jars, molasses jars and other glass jars no larger than 6” tall work great! Supply List: E6000, Matte Gel Medium, scissors, glass jar with screw on lid such as a mayo, spaghetti sauce, olive etc.. Washed out with labels removed. Teacher: Karen

Cowgirl Up! Mixed Media Canvas - $20
Saturday, July 17th, 6pm - 8:30pm
Whether you’re a “real” cowgirl or just a cowgirl at heart, this workshop is for you! Using vintage cowgirl photos, metal, paint, fabric, ephemera and more you will create a canvas wall hanging and 2 vintage cards! You will also learn a whole “herd” of distress techniques! Supply List: E6000, Matte Gel Medium, scissors, distress ink pad, foam blending tool. Teacher: Karen

Grunge Book - $45
Sunday, July 18th, 10am - 1pm
If you LOVE all things GRUNGE and all things TIM, Holtz that is; then you do not want to miss out on this workshop! Using a Tim Holtz Grunge Album we will delve into ALL of his distress techniques. Experiment with Tim Holtz distress inks, crackle paint, distress glitter, his signature cling stamps and more! Supply list: Foam blending tool, non stick craft mat, stamp press and/or acrylic blocks, scissors, Glossy Accents and Matte Gel Medium. Teacher: Shawna

Birds of a Feather Garland - $40
Saturday, July 17th, 2pm - 5pm
Birds and twigs and feathers oh my! You won’t want to
miss this shabby chic garland adorned with glitter, tinsel, bird , nests, vintage images, gorgeous papers, buttons, pom poms, lace, ribbon, tulle and more! Supply List: Glossy

2nd Annual Paper Pals Garage Sale!
Ever wish you could trade your old or
unused scrapbooking, stamping and paper-crafting items for NEW products that you know you need and would use? Then this Garage Sale is for you!

When: July 22, 23, 24
Cost: $5 per table
Table Reservations Begin: June 1st
Drop Off Product: July 21st or 22nd

We will charge a $5 fee per table for you to
display your merchandise. All items must be bagged, marked with your vendor number and priced by you. We will do all the work of advertising and selling your items for you
during our three-day sale!

After the sale, each seller will get a gift certificate to Paper Pals for the exact amount of
merchandise you sold. (Gift Certificates will have a 3 Month Exp. Date.) So you get rid of all the stuff you don't use, and you get a gift certificate to replace the old with NEW!

Table reservations will begin 6/1 (first come, first served) - but in order to sign up, you must come into the store to sign your "Garage Sale Agreement" form and receive your vendor #.

Maximum of 2 tables per participant. Tables will be both inside and outside. Sales clerks will be attending all tables. Don't have enough product to fill a table? Find a friend to join to - split the cost and share the space! (Reservations are non refundable.)

Do you own a Cricut? Then you want to be in this club! Join us every month for the Creative Cricut Cutters Club to make fun projects, learn new tips & techniques and share ideas with other Cricut club members! You will also receive a binder at your first meeting with a 40 page master list of ALL the images offered on ALL the available Cricut Cartridges. AND you also receive each month a tip & technique handout featuring that month’s cartridge.

Bring your Cricut machine, mats and cartridges to the meeting. Cricut Club attendees will receive 20% Off all Cricut special orders, supplies and cartridges day of club. Club fee is only $10 if you purchase your cartridges from Paper Pals OR $20 if you already own the cartridge or purchase it elsewhere. Call the store to order this month's cartridge! Private Scrapbook or Stamping Lessons - $15 an Hour

Classes

In consideration of our instructors, we request class payment at the time of registration. Your name will be placed on the class list when payment is received. Paper Pals requires a 48-hour advance notice for class cancellation - Refunds will be given in the form of a class credit only. Class fees will be charged to your debit or credit card if you are a no show.

If you are unable to attend, you can always send a friend in your place OR you can purchase a kit if available! Class Kit purchases must be picked up within two weeks of the close of the class. Class sample will be available for photos/copying during this time ONLY.

You will receive 10% off purchases made the day of the class. After taking eight classes, you will receive one class free (up to a $15 value.)
